Have you completed 36 CE Hours in trauma-related workshops with CPT? If so, you are qualified to take the next step!
CPT’s Certificate in Fundamentals of Trauma-Responsive Practice requires the following:
- Register for CPT X398. This gives you access to the two activities on Canvas required to complete certification:
- Workshop Verification Form
- Responses to Three Reflection Prompts
NOTE: CPT X398 is not a workshop. Registration in CPT X398 will not register you for any workshops.
Anyone previously admitted to the now retired Certificate in Interdisciplinary Trauma Studies through the School of Social Work’s Continuing Education (CE) Series is encouraged and welcome to complete this process to attain their certification.

Interdisciplinary Trauma Certificate
CPT has retired the Interdisciplinary Trauma Certificate offered by the School of Social Work’s Series program. If you were previously admitted to the Trauma Certificate, previously completed workshops will count toward the new certificate or you may attempt to complete to your original plan of study pending workshop availability. We are happy to support your progress either way. Please contact us, and we will assist you with the process, review your options, and answer any questions you may have.
Interdisciplinary Trauma Certificate
CPT has retired the Interdisciplinary Trauma Certificate offered by the School of Social Work’s Series program. If you were previously admitted to the Trauma Certificate, previously completed workshops will count toward the new certificate or you may attempt to complete to your original plan of study pending workshop availability. Complete your Certificate Process
Register in CPT X398 after completing a minimum of 36 CE Hours in trauma-related workshops with CPT
