Enhanced Illness Management and Recovery Foundations
This intensive, skills-focused training begins by focusing on E-IMR’s recovery-oriented values and principles and then dives into it’s effective motivational, educational and cognitive-behavioral skills and strategies. With the guidance of E-IMR experts, applied skills-focused activities, resources and integrated consultation, Foundations in E-IMR sets you up to provide your best level of care with individuals experiencing co-occurring disorders.
E-IMR Foundations Training
Learn the components of the E-IMR intervention, practitioner skills for facilitating recovery, and how to use E-IMR in practice with clients. Foundations in E-IMR Training includes:
- Seven (7) modules: Details below
- Consultation to support implementation, applied practice and sustainability
- E-IMR Manual and associated materials
- CPT’s Certification in E-IMR Foundations for participants who meet objectives
- Up to 23 Continuing Education Units

E-IMR Foundation Training Learning Objectives:
By participating in this training, participants will be able to:
- Describe and apply E-IMR’s recovery-oriented principles and values.
- Identify and apply E-IMR strategies that are appropriate to a person’s stage of change.
- Demonstrate skills to Apply E-IMR’s educational, motivational, and cognitive-behavioral skills appropriately to
- guide an individual through creation of a recovery vision, recovery goal setting, goal follow up and home practice.
- build individuals’ understanding and management of their illness, and connect it to their recovery vision and goals.
- Utilize the E-IMR manual and materials with individuals who have co-occurring serious mental illness and substance use disorders.

Pricing and Registration
Registration for Foundations in E-IMR will be announced as it becomes available and is capped to ensure participants have an interactive experience. Participants must complete the three-hour Introduction to E-IMR prior to the first live workshop.
