Navigating Ethical Decisions and Managing Rupture

Making an ethical decision does not guarantee a perfect outcome.  This webinar will illustrate how to apply an ethical decision-making model, rooted in reflective, cultural, and anti-oppressive principles, to a clinical case, and highlight how an ethically-grounded decision can result in a relational rupture in the therapeutic relationship.  Then it will explore common types of rupture more broadly in therapeutic relationships and discuss “ways of being” and micro-skill rupture repair strategies.
