Cultivating Resilient Roots: Mitigating Burnout and Compassion Fatigue
Burnout and compassion fatigue are widely acknowledged to be occupational hazards of any helping role including mental illness and substance use disorder practitioners. Simultaneously, many of us have experienced compassion satisfaction, or a sense of pleasure and appreciation for our contributions.
This evidence-based certificate is designed to increase the awareness and use of practices demonstrated to mitigate experiences of burnout and compassion fatigue and to also increase your experience of compassion satisfaction around the work they do. We focus on distinct yet interrelated areas of resilience: individual, relationships, and within systems.
You will engage in live video workshops featuring facilitated discussions and interactive instruction on concepts and practices intended for self-reflection, enhancing awareness, social support, and integration of practices to build self-compassion and resilience. You also have the opportunity to access and participate in an online space where you will find resources, activities, and social support that guide their growth process.
This certificate is designed for individuals, teams or whole agencies.
