Person-centered mental health care remains a critical ethical and policy mandate. Yet, barriers continue to inhibit the routine availability across systems of care. This webinar will present implementation strategies that provide clinicians with the key supports needed to integrate person-centered care planning into their daily clinical interactions and address the common barriers that arise.
About the Presenter
Mimi Choy-Brown, PhD, MSW
Mimi Choy-Brown, PhD, LMSW, is an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota, School of Social Work. Her research interests are in community mental health services and implementation science. The overall goal of her research is to identify effective methods to improve the accessibility, effectiveness, and quality of community mental health care for individuals who have experienced a serious mental illness. In particular, my recent research has aimed to measure and evaluate leadership and supervision strategies in routine mental health care (e.g., community mental health clinics, Assertive Community Treatment).
